Welcome to my website!

The gallery displays just a selection of my favourite images – I always display images I would be happy to have on my wall. My gallery will be updated regularly with new additions or collections according to the time of year so please keep popping back to see what's new!

I have always enjoyed photography and in my time I have owned a range of cameras ranging from the old 35mm film cameras to my current digital SLR.

Whilst my photography is mainly for pleasure I do display and sell my work through local galleries and here online.

I particularly like photographing nature, events and candid shots. I like to capture scenes naturally as they happen, particularly those that are colourful and unusual or tell a story. A local photography gallery described me as "a photographer with a different eye for a picture" and I would agree with that. I enjoy looking for images that others might not see or notice; that is the real thrill of what I do. I have displayed photographs in a local photography gallery "Rivington Park Galleries" and sold a print of my image "Wild Horses" there. You can see this image for yourself in the Nature category.

Locally I am very lucky to live close to woodlands with the moors on my doorstep so some of my photographs have been taken there. Many of my nature photographs have been captured in my back garden and those ranging further a-field were taken on holidays and days out.
